Full of Empty

I began the week with a fun and meaningful challenge for the kids.

During Storytime today I read the kids a book called "Full of Empty". It was a nice story about a young princess whose smile "flew away like a bird." Despite her father and mother offering her all the sweets, entertainment, toys, and stories, all she wanted was to spend time with her mom and dad. The story had a great ending when the girl and her parents played a game together and committed to spend dedicated time together every day.

I challenged my students to tell you to spend dedicated time together this week. When asked, the students gave a bunch of things they can do with their mom, dad and siblings: play games, go outside, worship together, read a book together, get tickeled and get chased :) I'm sure you all already do these things.

I hope you have a great week and some meaningful time with your kids. As you know, they are so precious.

After the story, the students gave a thumbs up for taking time with family this week. Along with funny poses! Lol.
