This Winter: Bible, Music, Drama and Construction Workshops in El Salvador

This December the Latin America Regional team will be facilitating their second annual Salvadoran Youth Conference in Suchitoto, El Salvador.

We have been working with these youth for the past five years and the December conference is a response to their desire to study the Bible and apply it to their daily lives.  The majority of these youth, aged 16-28 years old, are farmers.  Their daily workload combined with a failing public school experience leaves these youth lacking opportunity, empowerment, and hope for their future.

Our youth conference intends to awaken each individual to realize their personal potential (as someone made in the image of God!) and engage that potential in different skill and service outlets we offer during the conference. Participants will get the opportunity to learn skills that can bring positive impact to their communities: music, drama, and general construction. This year we anticipate 50 youth to attend this four-day conference.
