In Photos: 2016 Hopewell Fall Festival

Over 100 volunteers, donations from individuals and businesses, and hours and hours of planning all culminated in the the 2016 Hopewell Fall Festival. This year, more than 600 people visited the campus of Global Outreach Developments International, to witness the soccer field transformed into a fun-filled space with dozens of games, kid’s crafts, face painting booths, bounce houses, hay rides, and live music! When not playing games, our guests enjoyed free popcorn, drinks, and desserts.

Even though the event was scheduled to conclude at 4p.m., people were still riding the hay wagon and mulling around the pavilion well after the official end time. When guests are comfortable enough to stay longer than expected, that’s when you know they feel like family!

The success of our Fall Festival wasn’t calculated in the number of people that attended and it certainly wasn’t in the income generated (because there wasn’t any), but we count this event as successful because we were able to show love to our neighbors. For this, we thank our volunteers, donors, and our God for all that he has done for us by enabling us to give to others.

Thank you to all who came to the Hopewell Fall Festival, to our C.A.S.E. after school program that ran a booth, and to our many generous volunteers who not only gave time, but a smiling, encouraging presence to kids of all ages.

Special thanks to the following businesses in the Old Hickory/Hermitage area for contributing to this event: Bradshaw Chiropractic, All Points Automotive, Taziki's Hermitage, Papa Murphy's Hermitage, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, Kroger (Hermitage), LightShine candles, Dunkin Donuts and Details Nashville!
