Families who choose to homeschool their children often face challenges finding appropriate social venues and expertise in subject matters that are more advanced. Our tutorial program assists homeschooling families in meeting those needs.
The tutorial program at The Academy for G.O.D. offers homeschooled students of Middle Tennessee an opportunity to receive a hands-on classroom experience across a wide variety of subjects. Our classroom standard is a dynamic and inviting atmosphere where students are encouraged to try new things, embrace a challenge, and support one another in the learning process. All courses are taught by specialized teachers in a classroom setting where each student is carefully considered and nurtured.
The Academy for G.O.D. offers tutorial classes that serve to supplement your homeschool curriculum, as well as to diversify your child's learning environment and experiences. We offer classes for the core subjects of Reading, Writing, and Math, as well as Music, Visual Arts, Building, and Agriculture. Parents receive progress reports listing the benchmarks your child has mastered within our program.
Each student is required to have an iPad as it functions as our main manipulative in the classroom. Depending on the other courses your child is enrolled in, school administration may ask that additional supplies may be obtained.
The tutorial program at The Academy for G.O.D. is offered two days per week, Tuesdays and Fridays, for the entire school day (8:45 a.m.- 3:15 p.m., Kindergarten is 8:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.). For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
