Student Blogs

This week Mrs. Moore did a really fun writing assignment. The kids wrote a "blog" post about they're favorite part of their body and why. Here's what they produced...

Neveya

“My Hair” by Naveya Crefield I like my hair because I can wear flowers, head bands and be creative with my hair. My hair makes my feel happy. I like making flowers with my sister. We can customize flowers for anybody’s clothing. I like how my hair is long and I can do a lot of hair styles with it! I like doing braids with my hair and I like buns! And my sister does French braids in my hair. I really like it! That’s why I love my hair!

Justice

“My Mind” by Justice Garner I like my mind because it lets me think. It lets me think about all the needs in the world and it makes me want to make them disappear. God made my mind good and smart so I can help the poor people in the world. God also gave me my mind so I can learn to be a good brother to all my brothers and sisters across the globe. I love my mind.

Kiah

“My Hands” by Kiah Roufs The best part of me is my hands. My hands are important to me because I can use my skill for piano and worship the LORD, to sing his works and come closer to God. I also can learn more sign language and when I grow up I can go to El Salvador and help or teach children. I want to talk to them in sign language. I think it’s very important to teach kids. I want to know how to talk to deaf kids and get to know them. I love learning new languages to help other people, and my hands help me do that.

“My Hands: The best part of me is my hands, gliding along the piano, making music and hearing people.Singing and seeing them dance…that’s what I imagine in the future. Standing up, taking bow. Then I wake up! Stretching my hands high in the air;sitting up and brushing my hair. Pushing myself out of bed then standing up and taking a sip of water. Eating my breakfast with a fork, packing my bag and out the door. Get to school to do some work and get back home to read a book. Eat some dinner. Shut off the light. Pull u the covers and say "good night".

"My Mouth" by Jonathan Liley Just imagine that you don’t have a mouth! You couldn't talk to your friends...that would be horrible! And you couldn’t eat! I mean, who doesn't want to eat?!? That's why I like my mouth.

Asher

"My Arms" by Asher Hawkins I love my arms because they are EPIC! I can throw a frisbee with them. I need my arms to live, to eat and to drink. My arms help me play games Most of all I need them to play instruments to worship the Lord.
