SLAM works with the poor on the outskirts of San Salvador through construction projects, kid’s camps, sports, and home visits. Students will not only come to know the sights and sounds of rural El Salvador, they will work alongside builders and farmers, cook authentic Salvadoran meals, be the energy and love that so many children need and the listening ear for those less visited.
Concentrating our work in a local community has enabled us to get to know our neighbors, work within the school system, host agricultural seminars, health seminars, develop a place for youth to gather and prioritize a variety of other needs that we can work alongside residents of the area to meet.

On Site Information
Ministry History: We focus our service efforts in a village outside of Suchitoto with a population of around 22 families. SLAM youth will work on or near the property of G.O.D. International, where we have a youth house and music room available for young people to frequent after school. In addition, local farmers are blessed through starter plots and grey-water solutions and poor and elderly widows are visited and cared for in practical ways. All of our service shows others the love of Christ while meeting a real need!
